Angela obtained her Alaska real estate license in 2005 after a 20-year career with Nordstrom in Anchorage.
A native of Dallas, Texas, she moved to Anchorage at the age of 20 and became a stay-at-home Mom before entering the retail field. Sales experience and customer service knowledge gained at Nordstrom proved a perfect fit for real estate, and while with Prudential/Vista in Anchorage she earned Happy Home Owner and Honor Society awards.
Angela has earned advanced credentials as an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR). This certification is awarded by the National Assn. of Realtors upon completion of courses that focus on home buyers’ needs and how to best serve them.
Angela also has completed advanced training in the field of green building practices. Earning the Earth Advantage Broker designation involved classroom work, site visits and testing. Brokers are able to identify home features and building products that provide greater energy, water and resource efficiency and create a healthier living environment for their clients.
Angela has earned a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) certification from the National Assn. of Realtors. The SRES program is an advanced study course that provides Realtors with specialized knowledge about the real estate needs of the fast-growing age 50-plus market.
Angela and her husband Doug moved to Bend to be close to family and enjoy the Central Oregon lifestyle. She joined Harcourts The Garner Group in 2010 after obtaining her Oregon Broker’s license.
Angela and Doug have two adult daughters, Alicia Weeks and Mackenzie Tweedie. Their interests center around outdoor activities including hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing.
Doug obtained his Oregon real estate Broker’s license in 2015 and has joined with Angela to form Team Tweedie within Harcourts The Garner Group.
