The open-air Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend’s Old Mill District has earned its popularity as a venue for big-name popular acts. The facility has capacity to accommodate 8,000 patrons. Among headliners in 2017 are John Mellencamp, Paul Simon, Pink Martini, Deftones and Rise Against with Thrice, Slightly Stoopid, John Johnson, The Avett Brothers, Steve Miller Band with Peter Frampton, and Michael Franti and Spearhead.

The Sunriver Music Festival presents a variety of classical concerts. Most are held in the Sunriver Resort Great Hall, with events also at the Tower Theatre and Summit High School auditorium. These include the Festival Faire, Pops Concert, five classical concerts and a piano concert. A Fireside Concert Series is programmed during the winter season. The mission of the Sunriver Music Festival is to present quality performances of classical music and to provide educational programs for the youth of Central Oregon.
