Getting to know Lisa Bowlin
Having grown up in Salem and attended college at the University of Oregon, I consider myself an Oregonian through and through. All three of my kids were born in Salem and our family moved to Bend in 1998. After working in the insurance industry for 15 years and recently becoming an empty nester, I decided to follow my heart and pursue a career in Real Estate. Real Estate feels like a natural transition after having worked in insurance for so many years.
I have always been active in the central Oregon community and love the active lifestyle here. As my children were growing up, I played a big part in their schools, volunteering in the classroom, holding positions in the PTA, managing their soccer teams, and chairing school-wide fundraisers. Now I love to play tennis competitively on a women’s U.S.T.A team, golf, and hike with my dog Beau. I was an avid runner and have competed in many half marathons, and seven full marathons including the Boston Marathon. I love to cook, travel, and read as much as possible.
My involvement in everything that represents Central Oregon and my newfound time will allow me to best serve my clients’ needs when buying and selling a home, whether they’re local or coming to Bend for the very first time.
