New Agent Connie Upham
Harcourts The Garner Group announces it has hired broker Connie Upham. Born in the Florida Keys, Florida, with family who still resides in Palm Beach, Connie has lived many places around the world, including Washington, DC, South Shore, Massachusetts, Scottsdale, Arizona, Huntington Beach, California, Boulder, Colorado, Cambridge, England, Wilmington, North Carolina, and now Bend. She is a University of Florida alumna, with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Business.
Connie specializes in helping people relocate to Bend. Having moved many times herself, Connie understands how to evaluate an area from a fresh perspective and help clients integrate into their new community quickly. She loves meeting new people and enabling them to achieve their goals, whether through finding the perfect home or making important connections. Connie leads with warmth, listens carefully to her clients, and responds with integrity and accountability. With a family background in commercial real estate spanning over two decades, she spent countless meals discussing real estate opportunities and challenges.

Connie feels what makes her good at my job is her accountability, timeliness, and ability to listen and evaluate, balancing providing care and consideration with being realistic, upfront, and honest. Her goal is to deliver the best possible experience for her clients, ensuring they think, "Wow, that was the best." Connie’s entrepreneurial background helps her anticipate potential complications and address them swiftly and she is always eager to learn, grow, and build her life and network meaningfully, reflecting this in everything she does.
Connie has two children: a 20-year-old studying Finance at NYU Stern School of Business and an 18-year-old preparing to graduate from Summit High School and pursue a degree in Fashion Design Management and Sustainable Business at Cornell University. Connie’s husband, the CEO of a local company, has been in the outdoor industry for over two decades; they have been married for almost 22 years, and are still excited to explore together and have fun while doing it.
Outside of work, Connie enjoys cooking, writing novels, traveling, paddleboarding, snorkeling/diving, visiting her kids in college, hosting parties, hiking, biking, and spending time near water. She has a passion for anything seafood, bluebird skies, romantic comedies, and reading. Last year, she read 69 books, and aims to read 40 this year, covering genres from fantasy and romance to espionage thrillers, memoirs, business books, and book club picks.
